goblingains

goblingains in your AI assistant

Ask Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant for a workout and it asks our generator: the workouts come from our library and its coaching rules, not from the AI. Each one comes with a link to save it in the app and log it.

The address

Add this to your assistant as an MCP server or connector. It is free and needs no account.

https://api.goblingains.com/mcp

Without a key, everyone using the same assistant shares an hourly limit.

No limit, with your own key

With an account, open Profile in the app, find AI assistants and make a key. Your assistant then sends it with each request, as a header where it has a field for one:

Authorization: Bearer gg_mcp_…

Where it has none, use the address the app shows, with the key in it: https://api.goblingains.com/mcp?key=gg_mcp_…. Keep the key to yourself; if it gets out, make a new one in Profile and the old one stops working.

Claude

On claude.ai and in the Claude apps, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector. Name it goblingains and paste the address. Leave sign-in off; to use your key, add the Authorization header under request headers. The Free plan allows one custom connector. The menu has also been called Customize, then Connectors.

ChatGPT

On the web with Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu: open Settings, then Apps & Connectors, then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode. Then choose Create, name it goblingains, paste the address (the one with your key in it, if you have one) and set authentication to none. In a chat, pick it under + and Developer mode. OpenAI has moved these menus during 2026; look under Settings, then Security, if they are not where this says.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http goblingains https://api.goblingains.com/mcp

With your key, add --header "Authorization: Bearer gg_mcp_…".

Cursor

In ~/.cursor/mcp.json:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "goblingains": { "url": "https://api.goblingains.com/mcp" }
  }
}

VS Code

In .vscode/mcp.json:

{
  "servers": {
    "goblingains": { "type": "http", "url": "https://api.goblingains.com/mcp" }
  }
}

Gemini CLI

In ~/.gemini/settings.json:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "goblingains": { "httpUrl": "https://api.goblingains.com/mcp" }
  }
}

In Cursor, VS Code and Gemini CLI, your key goes beside the address: "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer gg_mcp_…" }.

What to ask

When a workout is wrong

Tell your assistant: a weight that does not fit, equipment you do not have, a workout you liked. It passes your words on to us, and nothing else about you.
